Room 1

Room 1 features a queen-size bed (fitted with a pillow-top mattress) with private corner wash basin.  It is quite spacious and brightly lit, and looks upon the Inn’s private yard. It shares an adjoining handicapped accessible bath area with Room 2 including toilet and full size seated shower area; NOTE: easy to operate privacy locks and latches are fitted to Rooms 1 and 2′s doors accessing the shared bathroom. The furnishings of Mexican, rustic design are built of solid, fragrant pine. A large armoire provides hanging space for clothing with additional shelving areas for luggage and accessories. A working desk with storage spaces for documents and supplies is available in this room. The room is lavishly appointed with Southwest design comforter, curtains & rugs, and a Pendleton Mills wool Blanket.  Heating is furnished by a vented, thermostatically controlled gas heater, while cooling during the few hot Zuni summer days is insured by a refrigerated air conditioner, a ceiling fan and ample window openings. A wall mounted LCD television set driven by satellite-based DishTv network stands ready to inform & entertain guests. Original paintings by Anthony Sanchez, B. Yatsattie, and Elaine Thomas adorn the walls.  The hand painted cabinet and mirror above the wash basin were crafted by the Zuni Furniture & Woodworks Enterprise. Other local artwork items on display include two ceramic pieces – positioned as bookends – by Jobeth Maize (a renowned Zuni artist and former Councilwoman).  An ideal room for a single Guest or a couple, or to be reserved along with Room 2 for a larger party of relatives or friends!

NOTE: when a Guest is reserving either Room 1 or 2, we do attempt only as possible to book the opposite room LAST.
